Dr Kayla Ahlfinger performing nutritional muscle testing at The Chiropractic Place for Mommy and Me in Aledo, Texas

Meet Dr. Kayla Ahlfinger

Her Background

Dr. Kayla Ahlfinger grew up just one hour northwest of Lubbock in a small town called Muleshoe and played basketball. She graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science in 2007. In 2011, she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic.

She first opened her practice in Arlington focusing on nutrition and chiropractic then moved to Lubbock to be closer to family with the birth of her first son where she worked with AIRROSTI for a couple of years. Life brought her back to the Fort Worth area with the pregnancy of her second son. She became connected to The Chiropractic Place for Mommy and Me as a patient and knew Dr. Michelle Parker in graduate school. After the birth of her second son, she joined the team at The Chiropractic Place and the rest is history.

Read below why she chose Chiropractic and continues to dive deep into nutrition for her family.

Why Dr. Kayla Chose Chiropractic

Dr. Kayla had experienced first-hand health changes with the power of chiropractic that she felt led to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.

After her own son was suffering from major behavioral & skin issues, she knew she needed to go even deeper with his health to find the root causes. That's when she started taking a more functional & foundational approach to health with chiropractic as the backbone.

After doing more comprehensive functional lab testing & specific nutrition muscle testing, she found that it was mold & parasites that was affecting his ability to heal on the cellular level. After applying specific detox protocols, he has been healing & thriving beautifully. She has also healed her own 20+ year battle with digestive issues using the same nutrition & detoxification approach.

She has made it her mission to help & empower families to holistically heal themselves using a more functional & deeper approach.
