Meet Rachel Gabsi
Rachel Gabsi has been a massage therapist that has been specializing in women for the last 20 years. Prenatal, Postpartum and All Things Babies are her jam.
She specializes in CranioSacral Therapy & Massage.
-
She graduated from massage therapy school as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2002 with an additional certification in Medical Massage.
Rachel believes that physical touch is important for all of us being a major part of optimal health and wellness.
Rachel has had an extensive journey with her specializing in infant care, craniosacral therapy, birth, labor and postpartum. Continue to read why she chose to become a massage therapist and how her experience shaped the style of therapist she is today.
-
She witnessed first hand the calm her grandmother would experience when Rachel would put massage lotion on her while she was fighting cancer. Then in her own life, she found pain relief when her physical therapist would do muscle work on her after hurting her back.
Rachel knew the power of touch helped in many ways and wanted to be able to gift that experience back to her community.
She graduated from massage therapy school in 2002, but that was the beginning.
She had experienced the loss of a child with a miscarriage and then the birth of her now teenage son, in 2007. Her birth stories impacted her in many ways that she wanted to do what she could to help other women feel supported during their pregnancy and birth experiences, so she became certified in prenatal massage in 2011. There was a big demand for continued massage therapy care in their postpartum phase of motherhood. Therefore, Rachel completed the training to become not only Postpartum Massage Certified, but also Labor Massage Certified as well.
Taking care of expecting women moved her so much that she then became a certified birth and postpartum doula in 2013. With that passion, she served families all over the North Texas area to this day and now their children with baby massage and craniosacral therapy.
She knew Dr. Michelle Parker and became friends with her in 2012 while being in the same birth circle community. She joined The Chiropractic Place for Mommy and Me as their exclusive massage therapist in 2018. This rest has been history.
